It is often necessary to recover a deleted file or a formatted partition. A user that does not know about the data recovery, when accidentally deletes a necessary file or makes a wrong partition format, or loses data exposed to a virus attack - usually resigns himself to this and starts his work from the beginning or reinstalls the OS.

Data recovery is a seemingly daunting task. Many users have repeatedly faced a challenge to recover files after accidental deletion or system failure. Data loss can occur is several situations:

1. Accidental deletion of data / formatting drives. In this case, if nothing is written on a disk or flash after the loss of data, the information can be recovered in almost 100% of cases.
2. System failure, in which the OS does not see the partition and offers to format it. If you do not succumb to temptation and do not format the partition, it is more likely the information will be recovered completely.
3. Damage to the media on a physical level. If there are damaged areas it is almost impossible to make data recovery, but if the data is on the good working area, it is quite possible to restore it.

Some rules when you lose the data:
  - The first rule that can not be violated, if you have lost information in any media – do not record anything on top.
  - If you accidentally delete a partition, do not create in its place a new one, leave everything as it is.
  - If you have deleted data from recycle bin, do not write anything on disk.
  - If you deleted photos from camera memory stick - do not take pictures further.
  - If the information can not be read from CD / DVD - do not try to rub it in different ways.
